Earth Day is the annual celebration of the environment and a day intended to inspire awareness and appreciation for the natural environment. The first Earth Day was held on April 22, 1970 in San Francisco. Today, America and over 100 different countries join together in the celebration of Earth Day and it has become the largest, most celebrated environmental event worldwide.
The Trash to Treasure Community Yard Sale will be going on from 9:00am- 1:00am. Various school and local performance groups will be performing for the community between 9:30am and 12:30pm. Electronics recycling will be going on from 9:00-1:00 and we will also have bins to collect old cell phones and sneakers.
